 Heartsaver® First Aid This classroom course teaches basic first aid and is designed to meet  OSHA regulations.

 



AHA Heartsaver Skills Evaluator help students by evaluating First Aid, CPR and AED skills from on-line courses. AHA cards will be issued after skills testing passed by an Instructor who will than order a two year card. Required after taking on-line courses.



AHA Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED is a video-based, instructor led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive.  Adult CPR and AED skills, as well as, how to relieve choking in an adult. This course is for any one with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. (Child and Infant skills can be included in the course.

 


Upon completion of this course, students receive an AHA Heartsaver CPR AED course completion card that is valid for two years.

Course is scheduled for four hours.


AHA Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid course is designed to meet the regulatory and credentialed training requirements for child care workers in all 50 states. This course teaches basic first aid, CPR and AED skills for children.


Upon completion students will receive a AHA Heart Saver Pediatric First Aid Card valid for two years.

This course is scheduled for four hours.


Medication Administration for Unlicensed Personnel in the Community:

A medication administration course that is certified by the State of NC under the Department of Mental Health.  Topics discussed include six rights of medication, medical abbreviations, and rules about administering medication, just to name a few. A  site specific medication check-off list must be done within 90 days of passing test. The State approved manual is given to every student. Taught by a state certified RN. Students can not be working under any type of license.


Requirements: Must be 18 years old or older

                         Must have a high school diploma or GED

                         Must read and write in fluent English


Course is scheduled for six hours.  Upon completion of the course and medication administration check-off list a certificate is given to each student  for one year.
